ADOPTION PROCESS

APPLICATION: The first step is to fill out our application which will allow us to know you better and what types and characteristics you are looking for in your new mini Bernedoodle. After reviewing your application we will email you to let you know if your application has been approved. Allow 1 or 2 business days from time of submittion for a reply.

RESERVING A PUPPY: After your application has been approved, reserving a puppy requires a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot on our reservation list for the puppy of your choice. We will email you with updates about the puppies and post pictures weekly on our Facebook page. Your place on the reservation list is on a first-reserve first-pick basis, second-reserve second-pick and so on. All deposits, if needed, are transferrable to another available or future puppy.

SELECTING A PUPPY: At around 5 weeks the puppies are very active and their personalities really start to come out. At this time we will email you pictures and personality descriptions of each puppy along with links to video. You will be asked to reply, listing all the puppies in order of preference. We base each match on the deposit date and puppy preferences. We will try to match you as closely to your preferences as possible. If, for unforseen circumstances, you are not able to adopt a puppy from the available litter, you may pick from our next available litter or when the time is right for you. Should you decide to chose a different puppy or puppy from a future litter other than the original, you may do so. Your reservation order will be based on the date of your puppy deposit transfer. Everyone will have 48 hours to reply to the email. Allow us 1-2 days to match you with your furbaby. Once you have selected your puppy let us know if you would like pick up locallly, delivery by ground or air with a flight nanny.

BEFORE PICKUP: The week prior to pickup we will email you a list of things you will want for your puppy and pick-up information. Included in the email will be our two year health guarantee and puppy contract. If the puppy is being delivered you will need to pay the balance owed on your puppy 48 hours prior to delivery. You can pay thru Venmo, Zelle or Apple Pay. You will need to digitally sign the puppy contract prior to delivery. If you are picking up the puppy personally then the balance owed on your puppy can be paid prior to or the day of pickup. Cash or casher’s check will also be accepted at the day of pickup. Additionally, the puppy contract can be signed prior to or the day of pickup. All of the puppies will receive their first round of vaccinations, multiple rounds of de-wormer, and a thorough wellness exam by our vet prior to adoption.

PICK UP/DELIVERY: The most exciting time for us is when our furbaby parents get to pick up their new pups or have them delivered. At 8 weeks our puppies will be ready to go to their new homes. A bag of puppy essentials will go with each puppy. This includes a stuffed animal with mom’s scent, toys, treats, a collar, starter bag of food, vet records, and health guarantee. If you are picking up you puppy personally there may be a balance due at pickup. We accept Cash, certified check, Venmo, Zelle or Apple Pay.
